Nocona Boots from the 1970s

My father-in-law gave me these boots years ago. i have worn them very little. Nocona does not have any records on boots this old. i am thinking about selling them but i do not know what the leather is. Dad told me they were alligator. they are in excellent condition. size9 1/2 Narrow.
